P&C Licensed Commercial Lines Account Manager

Canandaigua Insurance Agency, LLC is a well-established insurance agency located in Canandaigua New York. Our agency is looking to add a Commercial Lines Account Manager to our Commercial Lines team. This position is responsible for providing prompt, accurate, courteous service to customers, producers and company personnel for existing commercial accounts.

Job requirements and Qualifications

* Experience as a Property and Casualty Commercial Lines Service Representative with knowledge of commercial insurance and products. The preferred candidates will have a minimum three years’ experience. Middle market to large accounts

* P&C license required.

* Knowledge of applied epic, computer systems and operations. 

* Have the capacity, ability and willingness to learn and improve.

* Be a good listener and communicate effectively.

* Ability to work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.

* Strong attention to detail, data information precise, clear messages, time management, works well with all.

* Dedicated to high ethical standard, empathy, tolerance, kindness and professionalism.

Essential job responsibilities

* Grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge to highest level possible.

* Provide, with a positive attitude, a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing commercial accounts.

* Service Commercial Lines accounts as assigned.

* Collect premiums per established agency procedures.

* At the direction of producer, prepare company submissions for new business quotes and renewal quotes, prepare proposals of insurance for Commercial Lines clients, including visits to clients with producer when requested.

* Initiate and prepare endorsement requests for Commercial Lines clients.

* Prepare and process all requests for certificates of insurance as required within 24 hours of request.

* Setup and prepare new account files per agency procedures.

* Prepare account summaries as required.

* Prepare ID cards, evidence of property, certificates and binders.

* Maintain all client activity in the agency automation system.

* Service commercial lines accounts in a manner to eliminate gaps in coverage, thus reducing our E&O exposures.

* Prioritize workload and/or request assistance as required.

* Meet with clients to discuss and handle their insurance needs.

* Keep producers fully informed of all-important activities on their accounts.

* Assume other job responsibilities as assigned by office manager.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year per experience
