WAND TV, the market leading television station in central Illinois, is looking for Digital Producer to help cultivate and report stories on our digital platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive our digital storytelling by collaborating with reporters, anchors, and producers.
- Keep our website fresh and full of engaging content.
- Write effective headlines and sharp summaries.
- Create compelling, interactive posts for social media.
- Assist the newsroom in building an individual social media presence and audience.
- Shape and execute social strategies that grow our digital footprint.
- Send breaking news, weather, and sports alerts that keep our community in the know.
- Edit content for clarity, fairness, and tone—keeping it polished and audience-ready.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Strong writing with a command of AP Style.
- Excellent judgment for what makes news—and what makes readers care.
- A calm, cool, and collaborative mindset—especially under deadline pressure.
- Social media fluency and a knack for analytics.
- Bonus points for SEO skills and web publishing experience.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–2 years in a newsroom, digital media, or publishing environment preferred.
