Clinical Assistant

We are seeking a part time (15 to 20 hours) Clinical Assistant to join our Pediatric Ophthalmology team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a variety of tasks such as measuring visual acuity, administering eye drops, and assisting the pediatric ophthalmologist with the exams. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist ophthalmologists in the examination and treatment of patients.
  • Enthusiastic to work with children in a pediatric ophthalmology setting
  • Educate patients on eye care and safety.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • No experience required.

Pay is commensurate with certifications, experience, and education.

Job Type: Part time on Monday,  Wednesday AND FRIDAY

Salary: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
