Administrator Intern (Associate Principal/Principal in training)
The Oregon School District seeks an administrator intern to work at Prairie View Elementary starting with the 2025-2026 school year.
The administrator intern program is unique and offers educators an opportunity to gain experience as an administrator. This is a one-year program with the potential to be renewed annually for up to three years. At the end of each year, the intern can return to a classroom teaching position.
The ideal candidate will have an administrator license or be enrolled in an administrator licensing program, be able to support students with challenging behaviors, have successful leadership experience, be committed to offering an equitable environment and personalized learning instruction to all students, and have experience with PBIS. Experience as an educator in the Oregon School District is preferred but this position is open to external candidates.
This position is expected to work occasional evenings and weekends to attend school events with additional days in the summer for professional development and strategic planning.
