Growth Marketing Intern
Purpose: Provide hands-on support to the Marketing team by assisting with list segmentation, data management, and lead generation research to improve targeted outreach and client engagement.
1. CRM Support & Data Integrity (Pipedrive + Mailchimp)
- Clean and update contact records for accuracy and consistency.
- Tag and organize leads based on lifecycle stage, client type, or referral source.
- Assist with de-duplication and formatting of incoming contacts.
- Document CRM processes and support ongoing data hygiene efforts.
- Identify opportunities for automation and workflow streamlining.
2. Email List Segmentation & Management
- Build and maintain segmented lists for targeted campaigns based on audience type (clients, leads, prospects).
- Track engagement metrics and refine targeting strategies based on performance data.
- Support list clean-up and ensure proper opt-ins are in place.
- Collaborate on tagging strategies tied to campaign goals and segmentation needs.
- Monitor bounces, unsubscribes, and list health to improve deliverability.
3. Lead Generation Support & Research
- Conduct SWOT analyses to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to lead generation.
- Research and recommend new lead sources, including professional networks, industry events, and digital advertising opportunities.
- Gather insights on competitor strategies to identify gaps and opportunities for outreach.
- Analyze data to determine the effectiveness of lead sources and suggest improvements.
- Develop a list of high-potential prospects based on industry trends and market analysis.
- Support the creation of data-driven reports to guide marketing decisions.
4. Sales & Lead Funnel Optimization
- Update lead statuses in Pipedrive and confirm follow-up sequences are executed.
- Create simple dashboards or exports to track lead progression through the funnel.
- Support reporting on lead sources, conversion rates, and response timelines.
- Document any roadblocks in the funnel and offer cleanup suggestions.
- Coordinate with attorneys and staff to resolve missing or incomplete lead data.
5. General Marketing & Team Collaboration
- Assist with tracking marketing metrics and preparing performance reports.
- Support marketing and sales research or competitor analysis.
- Help organize shared team folders, templates, and project boards.
- Offer creative input and assist in brainstorming outreach ideas for client engagement.
