Data Processor - Teleqo Tech

Teleqo Tech is a tech startup at the forefront of spatial data technology, delivering cutting-edge LiDAR and imaging visualization and extraction platforms for our clients. We're looking for a detail-oriented Data Processor to join our dynamic team and help drive our success.  We are located in Tysons Corner, VA.

Position Overview

As a Data Processor at Teleqo Tech, you'll play a crucial role in transforming raw spatial datasets into valuable resources for our in-house visualization and extraction platforms. This position requires someone who can maintain high data quality standards while adapting to evolving workflows in our fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute processing workflows for raw spatial datasets (LiDAR, imagery, positioning data) to feed our visualization and extraction platforms
  • Perform thorough QA/QC of processed datasets to ensure they meet quality standards and formatting requirements
  • Track processing metrics and compile reports for stakeholders to support project planning
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve processing errors independently
  • Adapt to new workflows and processing methodologies as they develop

Required Qualifications

  • Proven ability to learn new systems and workflows quickly
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot processing errors
  • Capable of working independently with limited oversight
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in data processing
  • Experience in processing LiDAR and imagery data, preferably from Riegl sensors
  • Experience with GIS tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS/ESRI, or CloudCompare
  • Familiarity with LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT) for data processing tasks
  • Technical degree in engineering, GIS, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

Work Environment

  • In-office position at our Tysons Corner, VA headquarters (4-5 days per week)
