Creative Pastor

 

 

 

Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with Kingwood Church in Alabaster, AL as they search for their new Creative Pastor. Kingwood is a strong and dynamic church in the south area of Birmingham. They are a spirit-filled congregation connected to the Assemblies of God denomination and beliefs.  

 

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Worship & Audio-Visual

 

 

Responsibilities Unique to Worship:

  • Ensure strategic alignment by partnering with the worship coordinator to create engaging and meaningful worship experiences that reflect the church’s vision and values, and help people meet God
  • Identify and solidify Kingwood’s philosophy of worship and continually integrate that philosophy in all worship services
  • Collaborate with the worship coordinator to prepare for events that are driven through the worship service (Easter, Christmas, Missions Day, etc.)
  • Consult with other church worship teams (Kids, Students, etc. ) to strengthen, encourage, and foster philosophical alignment throughout the church
  • Be prepared to lead in the worship coordinator's absence if necessary

 

Responsibilities Unique to Public Relations:

  • Oversee all internal and external public relations for Kingwood Church, ensuring the most effective communication strategies to reach our church and community
  • Maintain and update the Branding Guide as a key reference for all staff and ministries, influencing decisions related to PR, including facilities, signage, logos, colors, furniture, website, and social media
  • Continuously explore new opportunities to connect with our community through brand-building, social media, and emerging technologies

 

Responsibilities Unique to Online:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive online ministry strategy to expand outreach and ensure clear pathways to help people take their next step
  • Utilize analytics to assess the effectiveness of online initiatives and adapt strategies to maximize reach and impact
  • Collaborate with the worship coordinator and PR leaders to ensure alignment in Worship, PR, and Online ministries
