Receptionist

JOB SUMMARY

Kutak Rock seeks a Receptionist for its Denver office. This front facing position provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks while providing a professional and welcoming guest experience. This in-office position coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams, team members, and Firm departments provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help to create a positive, welcoming, collegial environment by exhibiting a strong adherence to customer service best practices
  • Operate the console by professionally answering incoming calls
  • Direct callers to appropriate persons and/or taking messages
  • Create a welcoming environment by maintaining reception area
  • Coordinate guest’s visits
  • Greet clients and guests of the firm in a professional and hospitable manner
  • Manage and distribute security badges to visitors
  • Distribute incoming faxes using electronic faxing software
  • Coordinate and distribute incoming and outgoing courier deliveries
  • Coordinate and schedule conference room availability
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Office Services and Information Technology to meet internal and external needs
  • Monitor the security of the lobby area by remaining in the immediate vicinity when the doors are unlocked
  • Work successfully in a team environment: solving problems, communicating in a positive manner, and supporting the success of the local and regional office, the Firm, and various teams
  • Assist with other related clerical duties such as data entry, mailing, shipping, photocopying, faxing, filing and scanning as needed
  • Handle miscellaneous clerical projects and other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities

  • Possession of strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
  • Ability to work collectively with others in the office. Performance of duties requires appreciable contact with the public and members of the firm
  • Ability to exercise discretion, tact, and courtesy
  • Must adhere to a professional business dress code

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • One year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

 Position Information

Status: Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $42,000 – $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience

Work Arrangement: Onsite- Working Hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
