Office Move Assistant

A DC law firm is seeking a college student to assist with an office move this summer.

ONLY candidates already based in/living in/already have plans to be in the Washington DC area will be considered.  Must live commutable distance to Washington DC to be considered. No relocations will be considered. 

START ASAP, work through end of July 2025, perhaps longer

In-office in DC 5 days/week

Preferred: candidates with little to no time off needed during this assignment

The emphasis will be on physical labor – the firm is doing an office consolidation & needs help

The project:

  • Assist with internal move, they are moving 100+ offices down a few floors in their building
  • Professional movers will handle the bulk of the move
  • Necessity to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm

Duties would include:

  • Pack up boxes for moving
  • Assist with moving boxes and/or light furniture
  • Reviewing the space, checking on items related to the move
  • Daily inspection/refreshing of offices
  • Other duties as assigned.
