What You’ll Do:
As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in both day-to-day purchasing and long-term procurement strategy. You’ll ensure we have the right suppliers, at the right price, delivering the right quality—on time. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both tactical execution and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and terms to align with company goals.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders for both direct and indirect materials.
- Collaborate with Inventory Control and Manufacturing teams to support production needs.
- Continuously improve procurement processes for greater efficiency and cost savings.
- Monitor supplier performance and report on key metrics such as spend and savings.
- Stay informed on market trends and conduct supplier market research.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative supplier relationships.
- Take on additional duties as needed to support the team.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 2+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain. Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
