Intern, Programs and Communications

Job Description

The Penn Club of New York is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Programs and Communications Manager. This hands-on role offers valuable experience in event management, member relations, and digital communications at one of New York City's premier private clubs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, promoting, and executing club events and programs
  • Support the management of the Penn Club mobile app, including content updates and member engagement
  • Help with event check-in processes and on-site coordination
  • Contribute to social media strategy and content creation
  • Process and organize membership applications
  • Conduct membership tours of the clubhouse facilities
  • Implement initiatives to enhance overall membership experience
  • Provide administrative support for the Programs and Communications department

Requirements:

  • Current 21+ student with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency with digital platforms, social media, and Microsoft Office
  • Professional demeanor and comfort interacting with high-profile members and guests
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Interest in event planning, hospitality, or membership organizations
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
