HR Software Development Intern

HTI is seeking an HR Software Development Intern to support the Human Resources team at a brand-new, high-tech multi-metal recycling facility in Augusta, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Aurubis, a German-based global leader in non-ferrous metals and copper recycling. Known for its commitment to environmental sustainability, innovation, and employee development, Aurubis is set to become a major contributor to the North American supply chain and a key employer in the greater Augusta area. 

What You Need:

Education & Experience:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree or certification program in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field
• Experience or coursework in media editing, e-learning, or HR systems is a plus

Technical Skills:

• Comfortable using wearable tech (e.g., Google Glass) and editing tools such as Articulate 360
• Proficient in general computer use and quick to learn new platforms
• Knowledge of video recording, editing, and content management best practices

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication, organization, and team collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Creative thinker with a passion for digital storytelling and instructional design

What Your Role Will Look Like:

Capture HR Processes: Record HR workflows using Google Glass to document standard operating procedures

Edit & Develop Media: Use Articulate 360 and other tools to build digital learning modules and internal training content

Organize Content: Manage and maintain a library of digital files to ensure easy access and version control

Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with HR and Training staff to identify needs and deliver user-friendly media solutions

Innovate & Learn: Explore new formats and techniques to support employee engagement and digital transformation in HR
