Behavioral Interventionist

Miami Valley Tutoring Services (MVTS) is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team of professionals who teach children with developmental delays the skills they need to advance in life.  If you are creative, flexible, energetic, and self-motivated, with time management, observation, and analytical skills, we'd like to talk to you about joining our team! 

Duties include:
• Providing intensive behavioral intervention and educational therapy.
• Completion of weekly program writing and maintenance of client's curriculum.
• Collaboration with other therapists and team members.
• Collecting, tracking and graphing data as instructed.

Position requirements:
Candidates must be bright, committed and compassionate with a team-oriented focus. Must be dependable, trustworthy, energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential. All applicants:
• must pass background checks.
• must have positive academic and employment references.
• must have at least two years of college from an accredited university or college in psychology, education or a related field is highly preferred. 

A preferred candidate will possess:
• The desire to work with children of all ages and abilities.
• An inherent ability to "connect" with kids and teach in the natural environment. 
• Expertise in reducing problem behaviors. 
• Strong foundation in the understanding of ABA principles.
• Ability to work with apps, games and web-based technology via an iPad.
