Summer Camp Office/Canteen Manager

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 16 years of age.
- Be friendly, organized, professional, and trustworthy.
- Possess skills in typing, business procedures, and office management.
- Some previous work experience in a business office.
REPORTS TO: Youth Program Specialist
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the daily operations of camp. Also responsible for canteen business procedures as established by the Youth Program Specialist. Will assist in the day-to-day business of the camp.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in procedures of office management as established by the Youth Program Specialist.
- Assist with registration procedures and communication with sending units.
- Support the printing and distribution of all camper mail and emails.
- Help with preparing all supplies for camper follow-up, including but not limited to Bibles, encouragement postcards, and take-home bags.
- Co-manage the camp store, making certain that operating hours are met, inventory or supplies are maintained, and facilities are kept in order.
- Assume responsibility for receiving of monies and making certain that any funds are kept in a secure fashion.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding the everyday operations of camp.
- Ensure compliance of all guidelines, standards, and best practices are maintained for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
- Assist and share in other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Camp Leadership.
