Marketing Internship

Company Overview: Central Powersports Distribution is an importer of European motorcycles which they then distribute across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. This comes with the responsibility of building the brands, generating consumer demand, and creating a network of franchise dealerships. This provides exciting and challenging marketing opportunities, with consumer and business-to-business targets. The business climate is challenging, with ever-changing interest rates and economic conditions; however, the powersports industry has a die-hard consumer base with enthusiastic dealers who also live the lifestyle.  Marketing avenues include all traditional and digital methods, but also have the unique sponsored racing and ambassador avenues to create awareness. CPD also offers aftermarket parts and accessories direct to consumer and to the dealers we support via our online store. We have a 33,000 square foot warehouse facility and headquarters in Marshall, TX, and this is where the internship is located. It is an in-person role unless otherwise approved.


Position Overview:  This internship offers a valuable opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience working closely with our marketing team to develop and implement strategies that effectively promote our brands to the consumer and the dealerships who sell to them.


Key Responsibilities Could Include:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, content creation, and other digital marketing efforts.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential business
    opportunities and target markets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and compelling content such as blogs, press releases, and presentations.
  • Support the planning and coordination of events such as races, OEM announcements, test rides, etc.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of sales and marketing collateral.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the CPD website and OEM websites, including editing and updating content, SEO, and the online store.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling marketing content.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Odoo software is a plus, but we will train.
  • A minimum of 10 hours per week availability (we may be able to offer up to 20 hours if the candidate is available, but schedules will be discussed during the interview).
