Scientific Programs Manager

The Poultry Science Association (PSA) is seeking a Scientific Programs Manager to coordinate and manage various aspects of the scientific program content for the PSA Annual Meeting and other related events. PSA is a non-profit, professional organization of scientists engaged in academic, corporate, and technical support of the poultry industries with a vision to be the world’s most respected source for the poultry sciences. This position is a full-time staff position situated at the PSA Headquarters in Champaign, Illinois. Among other responsibilities the Scientific Programs Manager is responsible for coordinating the submission process for meeting abstracts, proposals for symposium sessions, speaker management, and the student and professional awards process. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and will interface with other members of the staff regularly. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Travel includes attendance at Association conferences and events, along with travel as needed in the course of business.
