Summer Internship- Sales Associate
Classification: Non-Exempt
Organizational Relationship: Reports to the Sales Manager
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Prospecting Process and set qualified 1st Time Appointments for the Sales Representatives to increase weekly rental sales for Service Uniform. This includes but is not limited to:
A. Research to find new prospects using a variety of tools such as data.com, internet, trade publications, association meetings, and other appropriate methods etc.
B. Cold Call businesses in person to gather information and set appointments
C. Phone Call on businesses to gather information and set appointments
D. Qualify Prospects to meet the selling requirements of Service Uniform
E. Analyze Potential Prospects to set up qualified Selling Opportunities
F. Prepare and Present Grabber Statements to create interest
G. Handle Objections
H. Create emblem and logo mat artwork for proof requests
I. Create and Complete 1st Time Meeting folders including relevant research
J. Communicate appointments to Sales Representatives
K. Confirm appointments with prospective customers
2. Maintain timely and accurate information in Salesforce
This includes but is not limited to:
A. Prospect, Contact, Account and Opportunity details
B. Information from prospecting and research
C. Information from qualifying and cold calling
D. Information from phone calls and selling activities
E. Calendar Management
3. Accurately measure employees using proper sizing kits
4. Safely drive a personal vehicle to appointments, cold calls, employee sizings, etc.
5. Establish and maintain a professional company image through proper sales techniques, marketing efforts & customer relations, while modeling the values of Service Uniform
6. Attend and participate in Company, Department and team meetings
7. Adhere to all Safety, Health and Housekeeping standards
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager
