
Social Media & Marketing Intern
Position Summary:
The Social Media & Marketing Intern will help increase JASE’s visibility, engagement, and reach through digital marketing and creative content. This role is ideal for a creative self-starter passionate about storytelling, community building, and using digital platforms to drive social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, schedule, and manage content for JASE’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
Design marketing materials including flyers, digital ads, and graphics using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Write compelling copy for social posts, newsletters, and promotional campaigns.
Assist with website updates and blog posts (as needed).
Track social media analytics and provide reports on performance and engagement.
Help promote events, campaigns (e.g., fundraising for the Respite Sensory Pod), and community initiatives.
Stay informed on social media trends and recommend strategies to increase visibility and engagement.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn).
Strong written communication and graphic design skills.
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Knowledge of or interest in autism awareness, disability advocacy, or nonprofit marketing is a plus.
Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
