Program Overview

CFI Partners, LLC (“CFIP”) is currently seeking college students to be part of its Summer Internship Program. The Internship Program will last eight weeks, is tentatively set for early June to early August, and is designed to introduce students to the credit investment industry. Interns receive real-world experience that will foster professional development while complementing their studies. Internships in the Data Analytics department are geared toward rising seniors pursuing a career in the investment management industry who are interested in data analytics, data science, and programming. 


Responsibilities

Interns will work directly with CFIP's Chief Data Analytics Officer and the Data Science group. The Data Analytics intern will work on a data science project designed to enhance CFIP’s investment strategy with cutting-edge machine learning, big data analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven insights. In addition, the intern will be exposed to The Academy Group, the philanthropic partner of CFIP, which is focused on providing opportunities and guidance for underrepresented young people in Chicago.  At the end of the summer, the intern will prepare a presentation outlining their summer project.


Qualifications

  • Graduating CO’27 with a B.A. or B.S. degree, preferably in a data science or programming-related field
  • Demonstrated record of excellence and high achievement
  • Excellent work ethic and interest in financial markets
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
