O'Connor Sales is seeking a very social, outgoing, and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our team and represent our manufacturers in the landscape, irrigation, and plumbing industries throughout the Greater Bay Area.

Our team is known for its deep industry knowledge, strong relationships, and a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground approach. We’re proud to represent top-tier manufacturers and bring high-quality solutions to contractors, designers, engineers, and distributors throughout Northern California.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and grow lasting relationships with contractors, wholesalers, engineers, designers, and decision-makers.
  • Promote and represent leading manufacturers in the landscape and irrigation, plumbing, and water works supply space.
  • Regularly visit job sites, client offices, supply houses, and industry events.
  • Identify new opportunities, follow up on leads, and manage your pipeline from introduction to close.
  • Provide product education, training, and support to both new and existing clients.
  • Attend trade shows, lunch-and-learns, and association events to stay visible and build community.

  • Passionate about building real relationships and growing long-term partnerships.
  • Comfortable in both sales and technical conversations (especially with contractors and engineers).
  • Organized, professional, and excellent at follow-up and follow-through.
