Social Media Specialist – Meta (Instagram + Facebook)
Part-Time or Contract | Remote-Friendly (US-based preferred)

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and style-savvy Social Media Specialist to lead Meta (Instagram + Facebook) content and growth across BLKSWN and other brands under the Meridian Footwear Co. portfolio.

You’ll work directly with our Marketing Director and creative team to concept, create, and schedule engaging content that reflects the unique voice of each brand — from bold, fashion-forward BLKSWN to our proudly made-in-America Meridian Footwear line. This role requires strong visual direction, storytelling instincts, and the ability to move fast and pivot when needed.

You’ll be responsible for:
   •    Leading content planning and execution for Instagram and Facebook
   •    Creating and editing short-form video (Reels, Stories, behind-the-scenes) and photo assets
   •    Writing engaging, brand-aligned captions and hashtags
   •    Owning and maintaining the content calendar across brands
   •    Monitoring post performance and identifying opportunities to optimize
   •    Collaborating with the Marketing Director on strategy and campaign planning

   •    Know your way around Canva, CapCut, or other lightweight editing tools

   •    Have experience growing or managing brand accounts
   •    Are familiar with influencer collaborations and UGC workflows
