Caseflow Technician

GENERAL SUMMARY 

The purpose of this job is to provide customer service assistance to those needing court-related assistance. Assesses client needs and researches and follows up regarding requests by answering questions, updating information in system, providing documentation or relaying information to others within court. Communicates and corresponds with clients, outside agencies, enforcement officers to obtain correct case specific information. May process return mail and serve as a backup to the front counter.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides customer assistance at the front counter, including answering phone calls, updating court systems, and providing documentation. 
  • Receives and distributes mail and faxes to the appropriate parties. 
  • Collaborates with clients, government agencies, law enforcement, and other community members to obtain accurate information to complete case documentation.
  • Mails out post office, status, and other enforcement letters to the correct parties.
  • Coordinates file viewings for clients. 
  • Assists with training new employees. 
  • Establishes and fosters positive and productive relationships with community members, staff, court officials, and law enforcement.
  • Performs related work as required.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
  • Less than a year of related work experience in administrative assistance 
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
