JOB TITLE: Marketing Intern

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

DIVISION/DEPARTMENT: GSO / Marketing

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sales and Marketing

 

POSITION SCOPE

 

The role of Marketing Intern will be critical in supporting the marketing team as Cascade Die Casting Group, Inc. continues to engage with prospects and customers to create opportunities, pipeline, and revenue for Cascade Die Casting Group. To achieve this, the Marketing Intern will support various marketing initiatives, including AI Integration, Digital Media Content Creation, Data Analysis of Market Trends, and other administrative tasks. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and the desire to learn and engage in tools that will drive demand with our prospective customer base. 

 

JOB ROLES:

  • Collaborator: Works closely within the divisions and to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

MARKETING AUTOMATION AND AI INTEGRATION:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns targeting industries such as automotive, appliances or medical manufacturing with the result of bringing Cascade Die Casting Group, Inc. to the top of the search engines. 
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide reporting to leadership team.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and customer insights to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Build, launch, and monitor paid search campaigns in Google Ads and other similar platforms. Reviewing search terms, keywords, and audiences. Optimize campaigns to improve delivery and results.
  • Help organize and promote company presence at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, including digital marketing for event promotions
  • Collaborate with each internal departments (Engineering, Sales, Human Resources, Senior Leadership, etc.) to ensure marketing materials align with organizational objectives as well as Divisional needs. 
  • Support the marketing team with administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and project management.
  • Work in our marketing automation program to direct lead flow and routing.
  • Identify where buyers are getting held up in the process and implement solutions to move them through the Marketing funnel.
  • Collaborate on new and innovative external marketing strategies including content and email templates within named channels.
  • Monitor performance of content and email and report back to stakeholders on what's working and what's not contextually.
  • Assist in the integration of AI tools to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Research and recommend AI solutions for marketing automation and data analysis.
  • Support in creating and optimizing content for marketing materials, including brochures, product catalogs, and case studies related to die casting products and services.

WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT:

  • Update the company website regularly to ensure information is current and accurate with industry related content.
  • Create and publish content on social media platforms to engage with the audience.
  • Build, launch, and monitor paid social campaigns in LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Create custom audiences in platform, through CRM lists, and through other platforms based on message and theme of campaign. Will work with many ad types and distribute press releases or media communications to promote company updates, product innovations, or case studies.

CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, and WORK EXPERIENCE: 


REQUIRED:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or other related fields. 
  • Ability to work a 40-hour schedule during the scheduled semester. 
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship for this role will not be provided. 

 

PREFERRED: 

  • Basic understanding of B2B marketing strategies and industrial product promotion.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing, SEO, content creation, AI search engines, and social media strategies.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, social media scheduling tools, AI search engines, or email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website updates.
  • Sophomore or higher class standing.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and PC skills including Microsoft Office.
