Angeles Chorale - Production Intern

The Angeles Chorale is a 60+-voice professional-level volunteer choir based in LA.  For 50 years we’ve brought inspiring choral music experiences to our Los Angeles community. We are looking to add an intern to our staff to support concert production and event planning for our upcoming season. This position is sponsored by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and Arts and Culture.

Compensation: $17.87 / hour

Hours: 15 - 20 hours per week from June 2025 - December 2025. Must complete a total of 400 hours.

Work Location - Hybrid:

• 5 hours per week in person Tuesday nights 6:00pm - 11:00pm
  • alternating locations Pasadena and Westwood
• 10 hours per week remote

Eligibility

• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States;
• Applicants must reside in or attend college within LA County; and be currently enrolled in a community college or four-year college/university program;
• Prospective graduates who will complete their undergraduate degree between May 1, 2025, and December 1, 2025, need not be currently enrolled at the time of the internship;
• This internship is intended for undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelor's degree;
• Access to a car is preferred. Google Workspace experience preferred;
• Interest in and experience with choral music preferred.

Key Duties: 

Rehearsal Coordination

• Assisting Music Librarian to check out and track sheet music
• Reminding singers to submit their weekly attendance

Concert Production

• Create and maintain a detailed Run of Show for all events
• Track volunteer needs for concert weekend (# of ushers needed etc…)
• Assisting to create and maintain stage plots if necessary

Ticketing

• Track ticket sale goals, help singers to sell tickets

Miscellaneous Event Coordination

• Organizing clear and detailed signage for patronage to and from restrooms etc.
• Personnel and volunteer wrangling (showing to dressing rooms, box office set up etc)
