Search Engine Optimization Intern

This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in office operations, project management, and organizational support while working in a dynamic environment. Work closely with staff on research, program development, and creative positive impacts within the community. Apply concepts and academic knowledge to real world scenarios and challenges. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in gaining practical experience in the non‐profit sector while contributing to meaningful social change.
 

The Search Engine Optimization Intern will assist in optimizing our website by

• ensuring older blog posts are Yoast-optimized and identify potential gaps in our blog content
• implementing meta descriptions
• optimizing meta titles
• resizing and compressing images
• establishing internal links to improve site navigations
• auditing and repairing 404 pages
• adding missing alt text descriptions to images
• track all work and progress through a team tracking sheet

9-6 Monday - Friday; though we can be flexible if they need to work on the weekends
