This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital advertising sales, focusing specifically on connecting local restaurants near your college campus with fellow students through our innovative platform. As part of a select group of 25 interns, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our network across multiple college communities.
Key Responsibilities
Reach out to provided leads of local restaurants in your college area
Educate nearby restaurant owners on the benefits of marketing to your college's student demographic
Sell advertising packages to restaurants in close proximity to your campus
Maintain relationships with local clients and assist with basic campaign management
Track and report on sales progress and client feedback
Learn about digital marketing trends in the local food service industry
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a college or university program
Strong interest in sales and marketing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
Familiarity with the local restaurant scene near your campus is a plus
Compensation Structure
This internship offers a 100% commission-based compensation plan:
New ad sale commission: $75 per $100 ad (75% commission)
Bonus renewal commission: $25 per $100 ad for months 2 and 3 (25% commission)
Earning Potential Example
Based on 8 sales per month:
Month 1: $600
Month 2: $800 ($600 new sales + $200 renewals)
Month 3: $800 ($600 new sales + $200 renewals)
Average monthly earnings: $733.33
