About the role:
Our Business Development Representatives (BDR) are responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential clients. Our BDR team acts as the bridge between marketing and sales, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team. This is a pivotal role in driving our revenue engine forward, and we’re counting on you to bring relentless curiosity, bold creativity, and unwavering determination every single day. This role is designed to be a steppingstone to future opportunities within the organization.
*This is an onsite role in Charleston, SC*
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential prospects based on Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs)
- Initiate contact with leads via cold calls, emails, and social media outreach and build campaigns to ensure consistency in follow-up.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to uncover opportunities to help clients achieve their objectives.
- Present the company’s products or services to potential clients and tailor solutions to their needs.
- Set up meetings or calls between qualified leads and Account Executives.
- Actively promote SIB and its products through social media channels.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align messaging and ensure smooth lead handoff and provide feedback.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and qualification targets.
- Be a continual student - seeking both internal and external learning - and an active participant in idea sharing and trying new ways to achieve objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or account management.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools. Experience with tools like LinkedIn and ZoomInfo is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Examples of effective leadership.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Charleston, SC
Physical Demands:
Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting up to 25 pounds; Requires a normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations; Position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Company offers competitive compensation based on an applicant’s experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Formal compensation offers are based on final candidate qualifications and experience. For the position of Sales Development Representative (SDR), expected compensation is between $55,000 to $60,000, on an annual basis, plus bonus based on individual performance. This is an FLSA-exempt position and not eligible for overtime pay.
