Jr Learning and Development Facilitator

Job Summary 

The Jr Learning and Development Facilitator will deliver engaging training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees across various departments, with a focus on mortgage lending, compliance, sales, and customer service. This role requires a dynamic individual with facilitation skills, instructional design experience, and a passion for employee development. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Facilitate instructor-led training sessions (in-person and virtual) for new hires and existing employees, covering mortgage industry regulations, loan processing, underwriting, customer service, sales techniques, and company policies. 
  • Implement engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, workbooks, and assessments. 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content aligns with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. 
  • Assess training needs and performance gaps through surveys, feedback, and discussions with management. 
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to employees to reinforce learning and improve performance. 
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making improvements as needed. 
  • Stay updated on mortgage industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in learning and development. 
  • Assist in onboarding programs to ensure new employees integrate successfully into the organization. 
  • Manage learning management system (LMS) content, tracking employee progress and reporting training completion. 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred). 
  • Experience 2+ years in training and facilitation, preferably in the mortgage, banking, or financial services industry. 
  • Excellent presentation, public speaking, and communication skills. 
  • Experience delivering both in-person and virtual training programs 
  • Ability to adapt training methods to suit diverse learning styles. 
  • Strong organizational skills.
