Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and motivated Education Sales & Design Specialist to support our curriculum promotion, program design, and outreach efforts. This part-time position is ideal for candidates with a background in Education, Marketing, Communications, Design, or Computer Science, and is suitable for recent graduates on OPT.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing marketing materials (brochures, flyers, social media content) for courses in debate, coding, robotics, and test prep.
- Collaborate to re-structure and modernize the company website to reflect updated branding, messaging, and program offerings.
- Plan and design new website content, including course descriptions, event highlights, etc. Ensure mobile compatibility, clear navigation, and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Communicate with prospective families/parents to introduce program offerings and follow up on inquiries.
- Support the development of course structures, learning paths, and visual content for various age groups.
- Assist in organizing student activities, competitions, and community events.
- Collaborate on marketing strategies for local and international student audiences.
- Support day-to-day operations of the education center, including scheduling, class coordination, and teacher support. Keep classroom clean and organized.
Qualifications
Background in Education, Marketing, Communications, Design, or Computer Science.
Strong communication skills in English; Chinese bilingual ability is a plus.
Proficiency in Canva, Figma, MS Office, or other design/marketing tools.
Passionate about K–12 education and student development.
Valid F-1 OPT status with an active EAD card.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Work Details
Part-Time: 40 hours/week (flexible schedule based on availability)
Location: Long Island, NY (Hybrid – some remote work possible)
Hourly Pay: 16.50–18.00/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
Experience with digital media or social platforms (Instagram, WeChat, Xiaohongshu, etc.).
Familiarity with K–12 enrichment programs such as USACO, VEX Robotics, AMC, or standardized testing (SAT, TOEFL).
Video editing, website design, or curriculum packaging experience.
