Currently, our Portland based team has an immediate opening for an ambitious, career-driven go-getter to fill a full-time Retail Account Trainee role. As a Retail Account Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience working directly with customers in a retail environment. Your responsibilities as a Retail Account Trainee would include everything from organizing and managing promotional events, facilitating product launches, and executing experiential marketing initiatives aimed at driving both customer engagement and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities For A Retail Account Trainee:
- Engage with customers inside various retailers to understand their needs, recommend products, and provide top-tier service
- Collaborate with fellow team members to understand changes in the market, competitors, and customers to offer tailored solutions that better fit needs
- Represent our client's telecommunications brands with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Learn the ins and outs of the telecommunications and technology industries while developing essential business and leadership skills
- Work independently to manage your schedule, follow up with customers, and track sales progress
- Learn to analyze customer engagements and buying trends with the Retail Account Trainee Team to adjust sales strategies
What We’re Looking For In A Retail Account Trainee:
- Strong communication skills within a team & experience working directly with customers
- A team-oriented mindset
- Motivation to learn and grow professionally in a fast-paced retail environment
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is helpful but not required
- Ability to create rapport with customers quickly in a retail setting
- At least some college coursework completed
