Advertising Account Management Intern

Tom, Dick and Harry Creative Co., Chicago’s craft agency, is looking to hire an account management intern that is ready to jump into the advertising industry and deliver real work for real clients. Our interns will work alongside members of every department at TDH to learn, grow and craft meaningful experiences for themselves and our roster of amazing clients. 

 

This paid 9-week program runs from June 9 to August 8, five days per week (Mon. – Fri.) and is available to rising college juniors, seniors and recent graduates.  

 

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assist account managers in the development and execution of advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, competitor strategies, and industry insights to inform campaign strategies.
  3. Support the creation of client presentations, proposals, and project briefs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client objectives.
  4. Collaborate with creative teams to translate client briefs into compelling and effective advertising concepts and materials.
  5. Assist in managing client communications and relationships, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and addressing any concerns or feedback.
  6. Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful campaign implementation and execution.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in advertising and marketing to enhance knowledge and skills.
  8. Work alongside other interns on an collaborative project that will give hands-on exposure to our full-service agency process.

Qualifications include: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated passion for advertising, marketing, and creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
  • A love for advertising and a willingness to learn about the industry.
