Position Overview:
Blue Bridge is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Part-Time Community Survey Administrators to play a crucial role in gathering valuable data directly from community members. This position involves conducting surveys in various community settings, ensuring accurate data collection, and representing Blue Bridge professionally. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about community engagement and contributing to important research efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting Surveys: Administering surveys to community members in person, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Recruiting Participants: Approaching and engaging potential survey participants in a friendly and informative manner at designated community locations (e.g., community centers, events, public spaces).
- Explaining Survey Purpose: Clearly and concisely explaining the purpose and importance of the survey to potential participants.
- Ensuring Informed Consent: Obtaining informed consent from participants prior to survey administration, adhering to ethical guidelines.
- Accurate Data Collection: Carefully and accurately recording participant responses, ensuring completeness and legibility.
- Maintaining Survey Materials: Organizing and maintaining survey materials, including questionnaires, consent forms, and any provided incentives.
- Meeting Data Collection Targets: Working towards achieving established data collection goals within assigned timeframes.
- Representing Blue Bridge: Representing Blue Bridge professionally and respectfully in all interactions with community members.
- Reporting: Providing regular updates on survey progress and any challenges encountered to the Project Coordinator or designated supervisor.
- Adhering to Protocols: Following all study protocols, data security guidelines, and ethical considerations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with individuals.
- Comfortable approaching and interacting with people in various community settings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.
- Ability to follow instructions and protocols carefully.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse community needs and perspectives.
Time Commitment:
- This is a part-time position with varying hours, typically ranging from 10 to 15 hours per week
- Work schedules may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends depending on community events and participant availability.
Compensation:
- $15 per hour, commensurate with experience.
