Outside Sales Representative

Ideatek is seeking a self motivated, and resourceful individual to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative. This position will help potential customers realize the value in Ideatek services, building long lasting mutually beneficial relationships. We offer a competitive base salary with commission based on sales conversions.
We are offering a $1,500 sign-on for this role after you have successfully completed two months!
Location:
This role will be primarily working in the field focusing on the growth customers in South Central Kansas. When not working outside, this position can work from our Buhler or Wichita office or from home.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Residential Sales Manager to identify locations to sell IdeaTek services
- Own the positive first impression of Ideatek. Meet new people while helping them get a reliable connection
- Understand and effectively communicate services. Identify the needs and solutions that potential customers would benefit from
- Follow up with leads acquired. Answer customer inquiries while scheduling installation appointments
- Engage in community events, presentations, calling on potential customers and leveraging networking and marketing materials
- This position would be working outside four days a week with the focus on evenings. And travel overnight approximately one day a month.

Requirements
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- 1+ years experience in sales, customer service or like role
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current & valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and occasional Saturday’s to meet customers needs
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Must be willing and able to travel (in-state/local area) Approximately four days a week in the field and one overnight per month.
Preferences:
- 3+ years experience in a sales or customer service related role
- General knowledge of telecommunications services (i.e., internet, wireless, phone systems)
