Team Whitmer Summer Fundraising Fellowship
Team Whitmer is seeking 2 paid Fundraising Fellows for the summer. We are a fast paced team committed to moving the Governor’s priorities. This fellowship provides hands-on experience in campaign fundraising and will allow you the opportunity to get your foot in the door in any part of the political world.
Opportunities in the Fundraising Department:
Fundraising
- Fellows will assist with event management including creating invites, prospecting, invite calls, managing invites and helping at events.
- Fellows will also assist with donor research, confirming phone numbers, data entry, prepping call sheets, thank you notes and prospecting projects.
Who we are looking for:
- Candidates should be hard working, organized, able to multitask, work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Suite and databases are a plus.
- A great opportunity for students, recent grads, young professionals or career transitioners who are interested in pursuing a career in politics.
This is a paid opportunity with a stipend of $1,250/month. The hours are flexible, although the ideal candidate would be able to work 18-20 hrs/week. We are looking for applicants who can fill the position until September 2025, based on the applicant’s preference. The positions will be based in Lansing, Michigan.
