
Production and Engagement Intern
Please note, this internship is only eligible for undergrad students (2- or 4- year) that are currently enrolled or will graduate between May 1 and Dec 1, 2025, and either go to school within Los Angeles County or have a home address within Los Angeles County.
The Production and Engagement intern will gain hands-on insights into the unique nature of producing community-engaged theater. For Cornerstone’s fall programming, including Public Practice events and a staging of our new project investigating American Democracy through Frederick Douglass, the intern will provide crucial support supporting production tasks such as logistics management and rehearsal support, as well as researching and engaging with community partners and artists. This position will work 15-20 hours a week from July 2025 to December 2025.
Candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and have previous experience with Slack and Adobe Creative Cloud. Project management software experience is a plus. Experience with online research and community organizing a plus. Detail- and solutions-oriented individuals that can remain flexible and adapt in the moment are encouraged to apply.
