Job Summary:
We’re hiring a Sales Manager with a clear path to General Manager to help us grow Stand Strong Fencing across Salt Lake and Park City area.
You’ll own the customer journey from first contact through the final walkthrough and Google review—handling estimates, follow-up, and closing deals. You’ll also take the lead in driving organic lead generation, branding each job site, and helping build referral channels with builders, landscapers, and realtors.
This is a W2 position with a generous base plus commission on revenue you close. As we scale, there’s a clear track to move into a profit-sharing leadership role as General Manager.
You’ll work directly with the owner and operations lead, and be the driver behind our next phase of growth. You’ll spend about 80% of your time focused on sales and about 20% learning and contributing to operations, marketing, and leadership strategy. You’ll also help us shape the future of our sales program and may recruit and train additional seasonal salespeople or appointment setters as the business grows.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-home and on-site estimates for fence installation projects for residential and commercial customers
• Own the customer relationship from first contact to final walkthrough
• Follow up on all estimates and convert them into closed deals
• Ask for and manage Google reviews post-installation
• Ensure each job site is branded and generates local awareness, including canvassing around job sites
• Develop referral relationships with builders, architects, and landscapers
• Collaborate with operations to ensure successful job handoffs and delivery
• Represent Stand Strong Fencing at a high level of professionalism
• Support the owner in evolving the sales function and building a scalable sales system
• Participate in broader business decisions related to marketing and operations
Ideal Candidate:
• Proven sales experience (D2D, pest, solar, construction, home services, etc.)
• Strong follow-through and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Excited about building and growing a business
• Local knowledge of Salt Lake and Summit Counties a plus
• Comfortable driving to appointments throughout the territory
Compensation:
• Generous base salary (W2)
