
Marketing Intern
Summary:
As a Marketing Intern, you will assist the Director, Marketing in various tasks related to advertising and promotional efforts. This internship will provide you with valuable experience in marketing strategies and tools, helping you develop skills that are essential for a successful career in marketing.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, email, content, digital advertising)
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities
Create engaging content for social media platforms, websites, and marketing materials
Support the execution of email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation and performance analysis
Assist with planning and coordination of marketing events
Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Product Development
Maintain marketing databases and CRM systems
Perform administrative tasks to support the marketing team as needed
Stay up to date with the latest marketing technologies and best practices

Required Knowledge/Experience:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
Basic understanding of marketing principles and concepts
Familiarity with social media platforms and their marketing applications
Required Skill/Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) for creating and editing digital and print marketing assets, including social media graphics, promotional videos, and sales collateral.
Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, such as email marketing software, intranet systems, and content management systems
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational skills
