Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lower Elementary Teacher (grades 1-3) to join our vibrant community starting August 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Montessori philosophy, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating a respectful and engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement Montessori-based lessons for students in grades 1-3
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages independence, curiosity, and respect
- Observe and assess student progress, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Maintain a well-prepared classroom that aligns with Montessori materials and philosophy
- Promote social-emotional development and positive behavior strategies
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching at the elementary level or willingness to develop the skills to do so
- Current ODE licensure in Elementary Education preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred
- Montessori certification or experience in a Montessori setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Passion for working with young children and fostering a love of learning
