Are you a motivated 1st or 2nd-year law student eager to gain practical legal experience? Join our legal team for a Summer Internship focused on organizing and updating our company's policies. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our operations while developing valuable legal and organizational skills.

 

About the Role:

As our Summer Legal Policy Intern, you will play a crucial role in streamlining our policy database. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and archiving outdated policies from our existing database.
  • Reviewing current policies to identify areas for updates and improvement.
  • Assisting in the drafting and revision of policy language.
  • Organizing policies in an easily accessible format, potentially utilizing SharePoint.
  • Collaborating with our legal team on various policy-related tasks.

Details:

  • Location: Fully remote position
  • Type: Contract Internship
  • Schedule: Anticipated start date as early as mid-May ending mid-August with possible end date extension based on need.  40 hours per week required for 10 weeks
  • Compensation: $15,000 total for the term of the internship, contract position (1099), invoice due every two weeks to receive bi-weekly payments over the 10 week period
  • Reports To: Legal Team

 

Who We're Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled as a 1st or 2nd-year law student.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 1 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
