Video Production Intern

Video Production Intern 

The Corporate Marketing department in Rain Bird Corporation’s Tucson office is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Production Intern to support the development of Rain Bird’s new Learning Center. This role offers hands-on experience in video production, editing, and content creation for professional training programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, has strong technical skills, and is eager to contribute to high-quality learning content that engages and educates landscape and irrigation professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, filming, and editing video content for training and development programs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture [AS1] technical demonstrations and product overviews.
  • Edit and enhance video footage using professional editing software[AS2] , ensuring high-quality output.
  • Organize and manage video files, media libraries, and project assets.
  • Create graphics, animations, and other visual elements to complement video content.
  • Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.
  • Support the team in scripting and storyboarding video projects.
  • Research and recommend new video techniques, tools, and technologies.
  • Assist in managing video production schedules and timelines.

  • Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong visual storytelling and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Video Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of lighting, audio recording, and video production techniques.
  • Experience with video editing software and motion graphics.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing video production and editing work.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and video optimization for digital content is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and transport video equipment as needed.
