Management & Accounting Assistant
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant. As an Accounting Assistant, you will provide essential support to our accounting department, ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations. You will collaborate with the accounting team to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, assist with data entry, reconcile accounts, and maintain financial records. Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry and Bookkeeping:
- Accurately enter financial data into the accounting system.
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with invoice processing and payment preparation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
2. General Accounting Support:
- Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform routine calculations to support financial analysis and budgeting processes.
- Help with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare and submit tax forms and other regulatory documents.
3. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain and organize accounting files and documentation.
- Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external parties regarding financial transactions and records.
- Assist in generating financial reports, statements, and other accounting-related documents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
_ Assist with HR department tasks such as onboarding, labor tracking, labor reports, monthly labor reports
- Assist with other office related tasks and ad-hoc requests
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical aptitude.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
