Position Summary:
The Training and Development Intern plays a valuable role in supporting the training initiatives of Credentia as a leader in healthcare credentialing. This position will assist in the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs aimed at enhancing employee knowledge and performance across our healthcare services teams. The intern will collaborate with subject matter experts and various departments to ensure training materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals. This role offers hands-on experience in instructional design, learning technologies, and workforce development in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties of the position include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
Assist in the design and coordination of training materials, including handouts, job aids, and internal guides.
Support the development and revision of training activities tailored to different roles and departments.
Collaborate with subject matter experts across healthcare services teams to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals.
Help maintain and organize a centralized database of training materials and digital resources.
Conduct research to support the creation or enhancement of training courses, including benchmarking best practices.
Participate in the delivery and facilitation of onboarding, compliance, and skills-based training sessions, both virtually and in person.
Gather and review participant feedback to help evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Assist with scheduling training sessions and coordinating logistics such as invites, follow-ups, and materials preparation.
Join team meetings and brainstorming sessions to provide input on instructional strategy and employee development initiatives.
Help ensure all training content is clearly formatted, up to date, and accessible across platforms (LMS, OneDrive, etc.).

Education/Experience:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Previous internship, academic project, or volunteer experience related to communication, training, or content development is a plus.
Language Ability:
Effective verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
Math Ability:
Basic understanding of metrics and data organization to support training evaluations and reports.
Reasoning Ability:
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Comfortable taking initiative and learning in a dynamic environment.
Computer Skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Interest or experience in using Canva, LMS platforms, or collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams is a plus.

ISM and Privacy Statement:
Deliver Privacy and ISM Training: Conduct regular training sessions on data protection, privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and information security management to ensure all employees understand their responsibilities.
Ensure Employee Acknowledgment: Ensure all employees complete privacy and ISM training acknowledgment forms, tracking their compliance within the system.
Adhere to Privacy Standards in Training Materials: Ensure all training materials and personal data collected during training are handled, stored, and disposed of securely, following privacy and data retention policies.
Collaborate with HR and IT: Work with HR to incorporate privacy training into the onboarding and offboarding processes, and with IT to ensure secure use of systems and tools.
Monitor Compliance: Regularly audit training records and reports to ensure employees are compliant with ISM and privacy policies, providing documentation as needed for compliance purposes.
Update and Review Training Content: Continuously review and update training materials to reflect changes in privacy laws, company policies, and emerging security threats.
Incident Reporting: Promptly report any incidents or breaches related to training materials or personal data to the Information Security team and follow the company’s incident response procedures.
Ensure Global Compliance: Adapt training materials to meet the privacy requirements of different geographic regions (e.g., GDPR for EU, CCPA for California) to ensure global compliance.
