Position Overview

This full time, entry-level paraplanner role is designed for a motivated graduate with a passion for personal finance and a desire to build a career in financial planning. As a paraplanner, you will work closely with our advisors to provide behind-the-scenes support in preparing financial plans, analyzing data, and helping deliver an exceptional client experience. This is an ideal role for someone pursuing a future as a CFP® or financial adviser.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering and organizing client financial data including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
  • Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and planning documents for use in client meetings.
  • Input data and run scenarios using financial planning software, MoneyGuidePro.
  • Conduct basic investment research and assist with portfolio reviews.
  • Support the team with meeting follow-up, documentation, and administrative tasks.
  • Help ensure data accuracy across client files and CRM systems.
  • Participate in team training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Financial Services, Finance, Economics, accounting or related field.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in financial planning (CFP® track preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with Excel, Word, and learning financial software tools.
  • Professional demeanor and a client-first mindset.
  • Background check required.

Compensation: $55,000 annually. Benefits include medical insurance, PTO, sick time off, SIMPLE IRA (Retirement Plan).
