Our internship program provides hands-on experience and professional mentorship for students looking to explore a career in financial services. Position Overview  

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Investment Intern to assist our team with research, financial plan development, and investment analysis. This internship provides real-world exposure to financial planning, investment strategies, and client service within a growing firm.  

Interns will work closely with financial advisors and gain experience in key areas such as market research, retirement planning, tax strategies, and compliance. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Assist in the preparation of financial plans, investment reports, and client presentations   
• Conduct investment research & market analysis using financial software (Morningstar, YCharts, etc.)   
• Support financial advisors in portfolio reviews and asset allocation strategies   
• Learn about financial planning software (eMoney, Albridge, or similar)  
• Help maintain and update client financial data & reports  
• Gain exposure to retirement planning, risk management, and tax strategies  
• Participate in team discussions, webinars, and professional development activities 

Qualifications & Skills  

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program (Junior/Senior preferred) in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field   
• Strong analytical skills & attention to detail   
• Interest in financial planning, investments, and wealth management   
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills   
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team   
• Proficiency in Excel & financial modeling is a plus 
• Discretion and confidentially
