INNIO – Waukesha Engine is looking for proactive and analytical individual eager to gain hands-on experience in the world of sales operations and analytic, as a Sales Operations Intern. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to learn about sales processes, data analysis, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced team environment.
As a Sales Operations Intern, the key responsibilities will include:
- Sales Data Management: Assist in the collection, analysis, maintenance and presentation of sales data to support decision-making processes. Participates in the development of key performance indicators (KPI), including supporting these KPI with reporting/dashboarding and other data visualizations.
- Install Base Data mining: Conduct analyses using the IB data to assist in strategic planning and product forecasting.
- Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales and sales operations team, including preparing analysis and documentation for ongoing projects, and other sales reporting.
- CRM & Install Base (IB) Maintenance: Help maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. Assist in updating the install base data, including (but not limited to) maintenance of the IB in accordance with Innio’s customer master data policy (CMD).
- Reporting: Generate and distribute regular sales reports, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are needed:
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Information Technologies, Engineering, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights related to the data. Creativity in analyzing data, with a willingness to learn business processes.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present data clearly to various levels of the organization.
- Working Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, & etc.) and familiarity with CRM tools (like Salesforce).
- Experience: Other internships and/or work experience in analytics (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Attention to Detail: Detailed oriented focusing on data accuracy and completeness.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a remote in a cross-functional and global team environment.
- Time Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
