Photography/Videography Intern

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Photography/Videography Intern to assist with capturing and editing visual content for events, social media, and our digital platforms. This is an ideal opportunity for a student or early-career creative looking to build a professional portfolio while gaining real-world experience in event coverage and storytelling.

Responsibilities:

Assist with photography and videography at live events, interviews, and behind-the-scenes shoots.

Capture high-quality photos and video footage in various settings and lighting conditions.

Edit raw footage into polished video content for social media, promotional use, and the Habari Entertainment website.

Organize and archive media assets in a consistent and accessible manner.

Collaborate with the content, marketing, and editorial teams to create engaging visual stories.

Help set up and break down equipment at shoots and events.

Stay updated on visual trends and techniques in media production.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media Arts, Photography, or a related field.

Basic experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio gear.

Proficient in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop).

A portfolio or sample reel demonstrating photography/videography work is required.

Strong attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling instincts.

Reliable transportation is required, as the role involves traveling to client locations for events.

Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Own equipment is a plus but not required.
