Intern, Program Services 

What You’ll Do 

Are you passionate about organization and interested in learning more about the medical communications industry?  As our Program Services intern, you will have the opportunity to see behind the scenes of various medical communication events.  This is a meaningful, mutually beneficial program where you can bring innovation and ambition that will help us reach our goals.  You will leave our program with an expanded knowledge base and real-world experience in medical communications and program management.

A Day in the Life

  • Support logistical tactics and various platform marketing initiatives
  • Database scrubbing and real-time updates
  • Recruitment list management with guidance from Program Manager
  • Data mining with guidance from Program Manager
  • Execute social media marketing campaigns with guidance from Program Manager
  • Support and shadow Program Manager as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role

What You Must Have

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or a recent college graduate
  • Availability to work 15 to 20 hours/week for 8 to 12 weeks from May/June to August/September
  • Computer programs systems:  Highly Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Cvent, social media marketing, cloud-based file servers, calendars, messaging systems and work management tools
  • Ability to manage and prioritize personal and team workload effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, virtual work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Respects confidentiality for client and company information
  • Critical thinker who utilizes resources well and is willing to ask questions

What You Might Have, but isn’t required

  • Experience in meeting planning

The Team You’ll Work Closest With

You will work closely with your Curio Program Service Manager as well as their counter-parts on the Curio Account team.  You may be HCP and client-facing during the planning stages of the program (via phone and email) as well as the on-site execution.
