JOB  DESCRIPTION

 

I am a political scientist (Ph.D., 1996, University of Chicago) who is currently writing a book about podcasts and politics. I am seeking a capable undergraduate to assist in employing software to transcribe podcasts, and then assist in coding. The ideal candidate is computer savvy, has experience in coding, and is interested in media and politics. This is a remote position. 

Candidate will receive excellent research, coding, and writing experience, as well as likely co-authorship of the forthcoming conference paper, and published article that hopefully ensues. The ideal candidate will attend a college or university that has a department or career planning office that funds this internship. 

Job Requirements

  • Familiarity with computer software and data coding
  • Knowledge of basic social science methods
  • Interest in media and politics
