Website Administrator
About the Role:
The International Franchise Association (IFA) is seeking a Website Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our organization’s WordPress website and digital platforms. In this role, you will ensure the website operates efficiently, stays updated with fresh, relevant content, and is fully optimized for SEO, user experience, and performance tracking.
You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, IT, and communications teams to manage digital operations, troubleshoot issues, track analytics, and implement continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Website Management and Operations:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain the WordPress website daily to ensure peak performance, uptime, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, including content errors, page load issues, and security alerts.
- Manage website hosting, domain renewals, and coordinate with IT for backend maintenance and server optimization.
- Implement and enforce website security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Content Management and SEO:
- Set up, update, and optimize content based on the editorial calendar and campaign schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure website content is accurate, brand-aligned, engaging, and SEO-friendly.
- Optimize website structure, metadata, keywords, and on-page elements to boost search engine rankings.
- Conduct SEO audits and apply improvements using tools such as SEMrush, Yoast SEO, or Google Search Console.
Analytics, Reporting, and Optimization:
- Track website performance and user behavior using Google Analytics and related tools.
- Build real-time dashboards and provide monthly reporting with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for UX, SEO, and conversion improvements based on data analysis.
Email Marketing and Digital Operations Support:
- Assist with email marketing automation workflows using platforms like Constant Contact and SharpSpring.
- Coordinate digital content and project timelines using platforms like Monday.com.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, communications, design, and IT departments to ensure seamless digital execution.
- Stay current on industry best practices for web administration, SEO, user experience, and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience managing WordPress websites and digital platforms.
- Strong technical skills with WordPress CMS, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Proficiency in web analytics (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) and SEO tools (SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs).
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, website optimization techniques, and security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a membership-driven association or nonprofit environment.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, Constant Contact, or SharpSpring.
- Experience with usability testing and optimization tools (e.g., Google Optimize).
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 annually, depending on experience.
