CPA Firm Staff Associate

Job Description:

• Role: As a Staff-Level Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our taxation and auditing departments with various accounting tasks.  This is an entry-level position. Therefore, we do not expect any prior experience in the field. In addition to some basic requirements (e.g., a completed Bachelor's degree, proficiency in Excel, etc.), a warm, energetic personality and a willingness to learn new skills are the most vital.
• Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in preparation of annual tax returns and other forms.
  • Assist in audit procedures and basic analytics.
  • Assist senior-level accountants with required tasks, such as tax notices, reconciliations, statement creation, trial balance imports, valuations, etc.
• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
